Qualifications

• Recent experience as a Parts Advisor in automotive industry.
• Telesales or proactive customer communication preferred.
• Experience in motor factors or dealership environments is desirable.

• Good knowledge of electronic parts catalogue systems.
• Organised, detail-oriented with solid IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and surpass vehicle parts and accessories sales targets through consultative selling.
• Engage with customers via telephone to promote parts, accessories and related services.
• Educate customers on suitable parts to meet their needs face-to-face and over the phone.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify and develop new customer opportunities via proactive telesales.
• Effectively manage customer accounts to ensure retention and maximise sales.
• Maintain accurate records for orders and stock electronically and on paper.
• Provide high-standard customer service aligned with company standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive team environment.

Our client, a well-established automotive business in Glasgow, is seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy distribution centre. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual with a strong background in parts sales and customer service to progress their career within a reputable organisation.

Requirements for this Parts Advisor position:

• Recent or current experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive industry
• Experience in telesales or proactive customer communication highly desirable
• Ideally worked within motor factors, franchise-approved dealerships, or similar environments
• Strong communication and telephone skills
• Good knowledge of electronic parts catalogue systems
• Proven experience in customer management and development
• UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
• Organised and detail-oriented with good IT skills
