Job summary

The client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership in Newport, seeks a dedicated vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver to balance parts sales with delivery responsibilities.

Reporting to the Parts Manager and working with three colleagues, you will identify parts, prepare orders, manage stock, and support workshop deliveries while developing your automotive aftersales career.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive aftersales or related fields.
• Familiarity with vehicle systems and parts operations.
• Proficiency with electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems (Pinnacle).
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and selecting vehicle parts for customer orders.
• Promptly picking and supplying parts to workshop staff for vehicle repairs.
• Conducting parts stock control and stock audits.
• Dealing with trade and retail customers regarding parts inquiries.
• Managing daily delivery routes for timely and efficient deliveries.
• Assisting with parts sales and providing support in the workshop.

We are seeking a dedicated vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver on behalf of our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership located in Newport.

The vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver role offers a dynamic balance between parts sales and delivery responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking career progression within the automotive industry.

The successful vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver will become part of a busy Parts Department, reporting to the Parts Manager, and working alongside three colleagues.

This vehicle Parts Advisor/Driver position delivers a starting salary of £26,500 per annum, with an uncapped bonus scheme designed to achieve annual earnings of £29,000 to £30,000. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with an hour for lunch, and no weekend work is required.
