Job summary

Darktrace seeks a Partner Solutions Engineer to build the technical capability of strategic partners and collaborate with partner and Darktrace sales teams to create and expand customer opportunities.

You will lead technical engagement across the partner lifecycle—from enablement to deployment alignment and value realization—helping partners position Darktrace and translate customer challenges into measurable security and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in solutions engineering, presales or partner engineering in cybersecurity or SaaS.
• Proven ability to enable technical audiences and influence stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern security architectures.
• Experience with SOC technologies and workflows (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR) and complex hybrid environments.
• Ability to design solutions, deliver demonstrations, and communicate technical and business value.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship and engagement plan for assigned partners.
• Lead discovery, demonstrations, and solution design with partner teams.
• Coach Partner SEs to lead evaluations and handle objections.
• Ensure clear handoffs and continuity from presales to deployment and expansion.
• Collaborate with Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering to deliver outcomes.
