Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a part-time Receptionist at Walton Lodge Vets in Ware. You will be the first point of contact, delivering a welcoming and professional experience while supporting appointments, client communications, and teamwork across the practice.

The role covers 18 hours per week (Mon Tue Wed, 8am–7pm coverage). You’ll greet clients, handle check-ins/outs, process payments and keep reception areas tidy and organised.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with a warm, friendly demeanour
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar
• Answer calls and respond to client inquiries
• Check-in and check-out clients, maintain accurate records
• Collect payments and process invoices
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area
• Assist with filing, data entry and other admin tasks
