Job summary

North Star, part of Castle Pubs, is seeking a passionate Part Time Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. You’ll run a section, support the Head Chef with food ordering, prep and stock control, and train your team to deliver food to be proud of.

You’ll lead in the Head Chef’s absence, ensure high standards of health and hygiene, and contribute to a lively, guest-focused atmosphere. Experience with branded menus and leading junior chefs is a plus.

• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.
• Run a section, ensure your team are working together as one, and lead in the Head Chef's absence.
