Job summary

MITCHELLS & BUTLERS PLC is seeking a Sous Chef at Barley Mow. You will lead a kitchen section, train and inspire your team, and ensure consistency with our branded menu.

You will support the Head Chef with stock control, food ordering and preparation, while upholding health and hygiene standards. The role offers progression and a supportive team in a busy pub environment across the Barley Mow site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team.
• Ability to train and inspire staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience ensuring stock control and food ordering processes.
• Familiarity with branded menu execution.
• Confidence in managing Chefs and a Kitchen Team.
• Ensuring compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
