Job summary

24x7 Group in the United Kingdom is hiring a part-time school transport driver to join our local route network. You will provide safe, reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities and build friendly relationships with families and school staff.

We offer flexible hours, term-time options, and routes that fit around your schedule. Training is provided, DBS checks are supported, vehicle and fuel card are supplied, and a pension scheme is available.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (car category).
• Ability to drive a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided).
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check.
• Completion of Group 2 medical to meet licensing standards.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations.
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff.
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days.

What You Need

• A valid UK driving licence (car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check)
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK
