Job summary

24x7 group in Northallerton is seeking a part-time driver to provide safe and reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. You’ll work on school routes, mornings and afternoons, with vehicle provided and training supplied.

No prior experience required; training will be provided. You must have a valid UK car licence, pass an Enhanced DBS check, and be eligible to work in the UK. Term-time-only options exist, with generous annual leave and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (car category)
• Ability to pass Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check)
• Completion of Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations

What You Need

• A valid UK driving licence (car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check (criminal record check)
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK
