Job summary

The 24x7 Group is seeking a part-time school transport driver in your local area. You’ll drive routes and ensure passenger safety while delivering reliable service to children and adults with varied needs.

Training is provided; a DBS check and Group 2 medical assessment are required. You’ll work term-time with pay spread over the year. Vehicle is provided with a fuel card; generous holiday entitlement and a pension scheme are available.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driving licence (car category).
• Confidence driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided).
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check.
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment to meet licensing standards.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations.
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff.
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days.
