24x7 Group is seeking a part-time Driver – Home to School Transport Driver in Ulverston to provide safe, reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. The role covers school runs on mornings and afternoons, with training provided and DBS checks required.

This term-time position offers pay between £540 and £860 per month, with vehicle provided and a fuel card. Benefits include paid holidays, a pension scheme, and no prior experience needed for entry-level

Your Role

As a valued member of our team, you’ll provide safe and reliable transport for children and adults with special needs or vulnerabilities. You’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days

What You Need

• Avalid UK driving licence(car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass anEnhanced DBS Check(criminal record check)
• Completion of aGroup 2 medical assessmentto meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK

This role involves driving children or conveying adults who need to be transported due to age, illness, or disability. The position therefore meets the definition of regulated activity under both child and adult workforce legislative wording and is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check with relevant barred list checks.
