24x7 Group is seeking a part-time Driver for Home to School Transport in Wigton. You will provide safe transport for children and adults, ensuring journeys to and from schools and other locations, while building positive relationships with passengers and school staff.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided. The role includes DBS checks, a Group 2 medical, and term-time hours with holidays off; a vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (car category).
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check.
• Completion of a Group 2 medical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations.
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff.
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days.

• Ensuring passengers travel safely to and from schools or other locations
• Building professional, friendly relationships with passengers, parents, carers, and school staff
• Following safety procedures and company guidelines at all times
• Available for both morning and afternoon shifts on school days

What You Need

• Avalid UK driving licence(car category)
• Confidence in driving a variety of vehicles, including people carriers and wheelchair-accessible vehicles (training provided)
• Ability to pass anEnhanced DBS Check(criminal record check)
• Completion of aGroup 2 medical assessmentto meet licensing standards
• Right to work in the UK

This role involves driving children or conveying adults who need to be transported due to age, illness, or disability. The position therefore meets the definition of regulated activity under both child and adult workforce legislative wording and is eligible for an Enhanced DBS check with relevant barred list checks.
