Chartwells Independent in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis (32.5 hours per week), contracted to 38 weeks per year. The role focuses on delivering exceptional food experiences and world-class customer service.

As a Catering Supervisor, you will lead our culinary and catering teams, monitor KPIs, and represent Compass Group UK&I while maintaining a positive brand image.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to enable excellence.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across all catering and service teams.
