Job summary

Chartwells is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a part-time basis, contracted to 32.5 hours per week. You will help kitchens and service counters run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences in a school setting.

The role features Mon-Fri Day shifts and a 38-week per year contract, offering progression opportunities within a company that values its people and recognises exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience supervising or managing teams in a catering setting.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill and grow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Support and train teams, lead from the front to enable excellence.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across teams.
