Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor for Chartwells, on a part-time basis of 25 hours per week across 43.8 weeks per year. The role ensures smooth kitchen and service operations and focuses on delivering high-quality food and outstanding customer service.

You will supervise catering teams, monitor KPIs with your line manager, uphold Health & Safety standards, and represent the Compass brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to excel in their role.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
