Job summary

Compass Group UK&I, operating through Chartwells, seeks a Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis (27.5 hours per week) contracted to 43.2 weeks per year. You will lead kitchens and counters, ensuring outstanding food and customer service across school settings.

In this role you will manage teams, monitor KPIs with your line manager, uphold Health & Safety standards, and represent the Compass Group UK&I brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to the highest standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to ensure great service.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams, leading from the front.
