Education Authority is recruiting a part-time Catering Assistant for St Mary’s Primary School, Banbridge. The role covers food prep, serving meals, dining area upkeep and hygiene, with a 16.25-hour week pattern from 10:25am to 2:00pm and a 20-minute lunch break.

You will work under the Senior/Unit Catering Supervisor, ensuring quality service to pupils and parents, while complying with regulations and school values.

Qualifications

• Effective communication to support team working and customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Motivation towards providing excellent food and customer service for children.

Responsabilités

• Basic preparation of food and beverages and simple cooking.
• Organising and controlling dining service points and serving meals.
• Maintaining dining area cleanliness and equipment.
• Recording temperatures for control purposes and ensuring safety.
• Completing administration and adhering to statutory requirements.
