Job summary

Education Authority in Armagh/Portadown area seeks a Mobile Catering Assistant to support daily catering operations in a school setting. You will help prepare and serve meals, maintain dining areas and assist with promoting meals to pupils and parents.

Role involves basic food prep, serving, cleaning and liaising with central kitchen as required. Part-time hours are 16.5–25 per week; enhanced disclosure is required for safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Basic preparation of food and beverages and vegetables.
• Simple cooking and reconstitution of prepared food.
• Organising and controlling food service points.
• Transferring and serving meals and snacks to pupils and parents.
• Maintaining dining area and setting tables, cutlery and service points.
• General kitchen and dining room duties including washing up and cleaning.
