Job summary

Education Authority in Northern Ireland is seeking a Mobile Catering Assistant to support daily operation of the catering unit under supervision. You will perform food prep, basic cooking, serve meals, and assist with promoting meals to pupils, parents and staff while coordinating with the central kitchen.

The role requires establishing dining setups, maintaining hygiene, and complying with regulations. Part-time, 16.25 hours/week, with a retainer paid during school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out simple cooking and reconstitution of prepared food.
• Organise and control dining service points; transfer and serve meals.
• Promote meals to pupils, parents and staff; maintain service delivery with central kitchen.
• Set up dining area and ensure tables, cutlery and service points are ready.
