Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Administrator at Head Office in Hull City Centre to support the timely processing of our weekly payroll for agency temporary workers. The role focuses on accurate data entry, excel spreadsheets and maintaining payroll records.
The successful candidate will work under time pressure, handle confidential information in line with GDPR, and liaise with the Payroll Supervisor and staff to resolve discrepancies and respond to payroll
Location: Head Office, Hull City Centre
Salary: £10,816 - £27,040 per annum, pro rata
Working Hours: Monday and Tuesday - 7:30am to 4:30pm

Key Relationships: Payroll Supervisor, PRS Staff, Temporary Agency Staff
This role plays a vital function in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by supporting the timely and accurate processing of the weekly payroll for our agency temporary workers.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the payroll function, ensuring information is processed accurately and within strict deadlines. While extensive previous payroll or accounts experience is not essential, strong Excel skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under time pressure are paramount.

Understanding of the importance of confidentiality and GDPR when handling sensitive employee information.
Previous payroll or accounts experience is desirable but not essential.
Strong Excel skills are essential.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
Ability to learn and use internal payroll and administrative systems.
Ability to identify discrepancies or issues within payroll information.
Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to ask questions when clarification is required.
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet strict payroll deadlines.
Organised approach to managing time-sensitive tasks.
The working days and hours for this position are fixed and there is no flexibility to change these days or hours.
