IMPRESSION RECRUITMENT LIMITED in Leeds is seeking a Part Time Payroll Co-ordinator to support weekly and monthly payroll processing, with HMRC submissions and payroll reporting. The role offers hybrid working (1 day from home) and flexible hours within 24–32 hours per week.

The ideal candidate has payroll experience, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to liaise with staff and stakeholders. £14.35–£17.95 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in processing weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Knowledge of PAYE and NI calculations.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to stay calm when handling queries.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll.
• Process monthly payroll.
• Complete EPS submissions and HMRC reporting.
• Analyse timesheet data and produce payroll reports.
• Manage Attachment of Earnings requirements.
• Support annual P11D processing.
• Respond to payroll queries from employees.
• Process new starters and leavers including P45s.
• Produce Gender Pay Gap reporting using internal systems.
• Submit pension and union fee deductions.
• Assist wider finance team with ad hoc tasks.

Job Title: Part Time Payroll Co-ordinator

Location: Leeds

Salary: £14.35 - £17.95 per hour

Hours: Part time, 24 - 32 hours per week

Hybrid: 1 day a week from home

Are you an experienced payroll professional looking to join a well established and forward thinking organisation?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a national business as Part Time Payroll Co-ordinator, supporting the finance team with the accurate processing of weekly and monthly payrolls while ensuring all HMRC reporting and payroll related submissions are completed within required deadlines.

Working within a busy finance environment, this role is ideal for someone with strong payroll knowledge, excellent attention to detail and the ability to communicate confidently with employees and stakeholders at all levels. You will play a key role in maintaining payroll accuracy, supporting compliance processes and contributing to wider finance team activities.

Key Responsibilities as Part Time Payroll Co-ordinator:

• Process weekly payroll


• Process monthly payroll


• Complete EPS submissions and HMRC reporting


• Analyse weekly timesheet data and provide payroll related reporting


• Manage Attachment of Earnings requirements and payments


• Support annual P11D processing across the business


• Respond to payroll and payslip queries from employees


• Process new starter and leaver information including P45 administration


• Produce annual Gender Pay Gap reporting using internal systems


• Submit pension and union fee deductions to relevant bodies


• Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks

Experience Required:

• Previous payroll experience


• Knowledge of PAYE, NI calculations and payroll best practice


• Strong Excel and data analysis skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• High attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling queries


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
