East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust in Stevenage is recruiting a Patient Services Administrator to support the Ophthalmology team across Lister Hospital, New QEII, and Hertford County Hospital. The role is part-time (31.5 hours) with flexible shift patterns including 7-3, 9-5, 10-6, and 12-8, and once-a-month Saturday cover.

You will handle clinic bookings, answer calls, provide reception cover, and verify patient demographics while using PAS and Choose and Book systems to manage

• Experience in healthcare reception or administration preferred.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Booking clinics and managing appointments across multiple sites.
• Answering telephone calls and providing reception cover for clinics.
• Cashing out clinics and liaising with clinicians and staff for smooth operations.
• Confirming patient demographics and updating systems; monitoring duplicates.
• Use PAS and Choose and Book to receive referrals and support patient choice.
