Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Administrator - Pre-operative Assessment Service to support and coordinate patient appointments and reception duties. You will help maintain high service standards and assist in staff development across sites.

The role involves cross-site working between The Lister Hospital, Stevenage and New QEII, Welwyn Garden City, with regular hours Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00 and some Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Good standard of general education.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT literacy.
• Experience in a busy administrative environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient appointments and reception duties.
• Support the Senior Nurse in coordinating patient flow and maintaining service standards.
• Mentor and support junior colleagues as appropriate.
• Work across New QEII and Lister sites as required.
