Job summary

A leading service provider in the UK is seeking an ambitious Chef to deliver exceptional food experiences on a part-time basis, contracted for 20 hours per week, primarily in the mornings from Monday to Friday, with optional weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for great food, strong customer service skills, and relevant qualifications including City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent. Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Ability to oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities.
• Knowledge of food handling, hygiene and health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high‑quality food.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback.
• Supporting the creation of new menus.
• Representing Defence with a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep the kitchen well‑stocked.
