Job summary

Chartwells is seeking a passionate Chef to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week), contracted for 43.8 weeks per year. You will prepare and serve high-quality meals, oversee menu changes, and help create new culinary concepts to delight clients and customers.

You should have City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, a Food Hygiene certificate, and experience supervising a team in a similar Chef role. A flexible approach to working is essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.

• Support creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
