Job summary

Eurest, a part of Compass Group UK, is recruiting an ambitious Chef on a part-time basis contracted to 24 hours per week. You will prepare and serve high-quality food, oversee menu changes, and support with new concepts to delight clients and customers.

The role requires a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ, a Food Hygiene certificate, and experience supervising a team. You will help maintain hygiene and respond to feedback to continually raise standards.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent is required.
• Food hygiene certificate is required.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar chef role.
• Flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve our food services.
• Respond to customer feedback to improve service.
• Assist with creation of new menus and concepts.
• Represent Eurest and maintain brand image.
• Monitor inventory to keep kitchens stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Comply with food handling and health & safety regulations.
