Job summary

Compass Group UKI seeks an ambitious Chef for 14Forty on a part-time basis (12 hours/week). You will prepare and serve high-quality food, support menu changes, and help create new culinary concepts while upholding brand standards across 6,000 venues.

The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, have a Food Hygiene certificate, and have experience supervising a team. Flexibility to work varied shifts is essential.

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent required.
• Food Hygiene certificate required.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Flexible approach to working

Responsibilities

• Preparing high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve our services.
• Supporting with the creation of new menus and creative concepts.
• Representing 14Forty and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
