Job summary

MTVH (Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing) is seeking a Housing with Support Manager for our Later Living team in the Midlands. Based at our Ruddington properties, this 30-hour-per-week permanent role involves day-to-day scheme management, responding to housing and support enquiries, and building strong relationships with residents and external partners.

The role requires independent decision-making, prioritisation, and safeguarding awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting older residents, addressing housing, wellbeing, and independence needs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on your own initiative.
• Understanding of tenancy agreements, resident rights, and landlord duties.
• Knowledge of Later Living policies and safeguarding best practices.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and stakeholder relationships.
• Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and appropriate response.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and priorities independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Later Living scheme.
• Respond to housing and support enquiries and liaise with residents.
• Build positive relationships with residents, contractors, and partner agencies.
• Participate in an on-site rota if required.
• Ensure residents receive an excellent housing service and promote wellbeing.
