This role
Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Housing with Support Manager to join our Later Living team in the Midlands. Based at our Ruddington properties, this is a 30-hour per week permanent role, worked over five days, Monday to Friday.
As a Housing with Support Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the scheme, ensuring residents receive an excellent housing service while promoting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. You will act as the primary point of contact for residents, responding to housing and support-related enquiries and building positive relationships with customers, contractors, partner agencies, and other stakeholders.
This role requires confidence in working independently, making informed decisions, and managing a varied workload. You may also be required to participate in an on-call rota, for which additional remuneration is provided where allocated.
Our Ruddington service is based within a community centre setting and supports residents living across several nearby Later Living schemes. Many of our residents value the reassurance of having a dedicated on‑site presence to help them maintain their independence and remain connected within their community.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
What you’ll need to succeed
As the on‑site Housing with Support Manager, you will be the first point of contact for residents and will play a pivotal role in the successful day‑to‑day management of the scheme. While you will be supported by a wider team, you will often work independently and will need to be confident in making decisions, managing priorities, and resolving issues effectively.
To be considered for this opportunity, your CV should demonstrate:
This is an ideal opportunity for a housing professional who is passionate about supporting older people and creating safe, thriving communities where residents can live well and maintain their independence.
