Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing is seeking an enthusiastic Housing with Support Manager for an on-site role at Rugby Road Community Centre, West Bridgford. The position is 36 hours per week, part-time, with on-call duties and driving/transportation required for work purposes.

The role focuses on the safe running of the housing scheme, acting as the first point of contact for housing and support queries, and representing the organisation professionally to customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience and awareness of the wellbeing and housing needs of vulnerable older persons.
• Ability to take a positive approach to problem solving and be decisive in your own decisions.
• Good understanding of Housing Management responsibilities and tenancy agreements rights and obligations.
• Knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation relevant to this customer group.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of customer service.
• Good awareness of adult safeguarding procedures and responsibilities.

Hours per week: 36, Part-time

Salary: £27,102 - £28,528 pro-rata, per annum

This role

Metropolitan Thames Valley are currently looking for an enthusiastic Housing specialist to join as on-site Housing with Support Managers in the Midlands area. The role at Rugby Road is 36 hours per week 5 days Monday to Friday. This role has a requirement to take part on an on-call rota - there is extra renumeration payment for this if allocated. We ask that all applicants have a full driving licence and a car to use for work purposes.

As the Housing with Support Manager your main responsibilities will include the safe and effective running of your housing scheme. You will be the single point of access for customers regarding all housing and support related queries. You will be a positive and professional representation of the organisation, to customers, visitors, contractors, other professionals, and key stakeholders.

Our Later Living residents may require support to maintain a dignified level of independence. This location includes an office base within a community centre setting and includes plus several residences on site and near the main service hub.
