HC-One Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant for a part-time role in our care homes across the UK. You will assist with meal preparation, serve nutritious meals, and maintain kitchen hygiene while respecting residents' dietary needs and dignity.

We value kindness, patience, and team collaboration. NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation is preferred, with willingness to work towards it. Training and development are provided as part of a supportive environment.

Qualificações

• Prior kitchen experience desirable with ability to follow recipes and record information.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Demonstrates patience, respect and kindness when interacting with Residents and colleagues.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with meal preparation under the direction of the Chef or Cook.
• Serve meals with warmth and respect in a timely and friendly manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including equipment and surfaces.
• Monitor and record food storage temperatures (fridges, freezers, etc.).
• Support stock rotation and ensure ingredients are properly stored.
• Show new team members how to safely use kitchen equipment.
• Wash up and keep the kitchen spotless after busy periods.
