A local authority nursery school in Chichester seeks a Part-Time Keyworker to provide excellent Early Years education. The role involves working mornings and assessing children's progress in a nurturing environment. Candidates must have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years, with experience in childcare. Part-Time Keyworker - Chichester Nursery School, Chichester, West Sussex.
We are a large Local Authority Maintained Nursery School in the heart of Chichester, working with children from 3-4 years of age. You will be part of a team in our large, open plan environment with a big garden area, providing an exciting and stimulating learning environment for young children.
To be successful in this role you will need to: be an excellent Early Years practitioner with a strong understanding of how children learn in a free-flow environment; have a sound knowledge of how to support and extend children's learning through planned experiences as well as in-the-moment learning; be confident in assessing children's progress and identifying gaps and next steps in development. The position is 20.25 hours a week, worked as 5 mornings (8.30am-12.15pm). The hours include an hour and a half staff meeting on Wednesdays from 4-5.30pm. You should be qualified to at least Level 3 in Early Years and Childcare and have a minimum of two years\u2019 experience as a Keyworker in a childcare setting.
