Job summary

Home Group is seeking a Housing and Property Lead in Wymondham to focus on tenancy support and property management. You will help customers manage their tenancy, rent accounts and maintain safe, suitable homes.

Responsibilities include engaging tenants, assisting with housing benefit claims, handling tenancy actions when needed, and ensuring properties meet health and safety standards. This is a permanent, part-time role with flexible shifts and travel across the Norwich area.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a housing caseload and handling landlord duties.
• Know-how of re-letting rooms or units, collecting rents, and tenancy actions.
• Able to take on a lead role within the team and support colleagues.
• Can-do attitude, proactive, well organised and works on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Make sure customer properties are homes they can be proud of and engage tenants.
• Assist customers with housing benefit claims on rent accounts.
• Issue and sign warning letters and notices when needed, possibly attending court.
• Turn around vacant rooms/bed spaces within set timescales to maximise occupancy.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and maintenance standards.
