Job summary

Nuffield Health Hereford Hospital is seeking a part-time Bookings Administrator to manage a high volume of email-based referrals and appointment bookings. The role requires careful data handling, attention to detail, and strong customer-facing skills to support service standards.

You'll collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate room and consultant availability and create or cancel clinics as needed, contributing to a smooth patient journey and reliable scheduling across the site.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer-facing environment is preferred.
• Candidate should be able to manage high volumes of email requests and bookings.

Responsibilities

• Administer a large volume of email requests from referrals to appointments.
• Ensure service deliverables are met and customer expectations exceeded.
• Prepare standard and adhoc reports as required by the department.
• Handle appointment bookings and changes, co-ordinate rooms and consultants.
• Create, alter or cancel clinics to support business needs.
