Job summary

Priory Hospital Chelmsford is seeking a Part Time Clinical Psychologist (Eating Disorders) to join the Eating Disorder Ward. You will assess, plan and deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, working within a MDT to support patient recovery and wellbeing.

The role requires HCPC registered psychologists with postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualifications and experience with eating disorders, delivering CBT and other therapies, while contributing to risk assessment and care planning.

Qualifications

• Registered Practitioner Psychologist with HCPC registration and postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification.
• Experience with eating disorders and specialist psychological assessments.
• Ability to develop personalised treatment plans with evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for eating disorders.
• Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans and conduct therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with MDT including psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians and therapists.
• Support patients with complex needs and manage clinical risk.
• Contribute to care planning, governance and service development.
