Job summary

Priory Hospital Chelmsford is seeking a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist (Eating Disorders) to join the Eating Disorder Ward on a part-time basis. You will assess and deliver tailored psychological interventions, develop treatment plans, and work within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

The role requires experience with eating disorders, risk assessment, and collaboration with families where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Registered Practitioner Psychologist with HCPC.
• Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent leading to HCPC registration.
• Experience with eating disorders and conducting specialist psychological assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions for eating disorders.
• Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans.
• Work with the MDT to support recovery and risk management.
• Deliver CBT-based and other appropriate therapies.
• Contribute to clinical governance and care planning.
