Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Registered Psychologist to join the Eating Disorder Ward at Priory Hospital Chelmsford. The part-time role (30 hours/week) focuses on assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans for patients with eating disorders, in a multidisciplinary setting.

You will provide evidence-based interventions, participate in risk assessments, and contribute to clinical governance while supporting patients and their families.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered psychologist with postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification.
• Experience with eating disorders and psychological interventions.
• Strong skills in assessment, treatment planning and MDT collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions for eating disorders.
• Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans.
• Work with the MDT including psychiatrists, nurses, dietitians and therapists.
• Offer group therapy and individual sessions.
• Assess risk and contribute to care planning and governance.
