Job summary

Priory Hospital Chelmsford in Essex is looking for a Registered Practitioner Psychologist (Eating Disorders) to join the Eating Disorder Ward. You will assess and deliver tailored treatment plans for patients, ensuring dignity and high standards of care.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, deliver CBT-based interventions, monitor progress, and contribute to care planning and governance. The role is 30 hours per week, part time, with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Registered Practitioner Psychologist with HCPC registration.
• Experience in eating disorders.
• Ability to perform specialist psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions for eating disorders.
• Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans.
• Work with the MDT to support patient recovery.
• Deliver CBT and other appropriate therapies.
• Monitor progress, contribute to reviews and care planning.
• Provide guidance to families and carers.
