Job summary

Coventry Building Society in Bedworth is seeking a part-time Customer Service Assistant to join our branch team. The role covers 24 hours across Monday, Tuesday and Friday with a rotating Saturday morning shift, handling cash and customer queries in a friendly, local environment.

You’ll be assisting customers, processing data accurately and supporting daily branch operations while upholding our values. Training and wellbeing support are provided, with a discretionary bonus and pension options.

Qualifications

• For this role you’ll need to have experience in a customer focused role (retail, hospitality or call centre).
• You’ll interact directly with customers and provide a great service on a daily basis.
• You should have good attention to detail with processing customer details accurately.
• You need to be computer literate and able to navigate systems quickly.
• Experience in cash handling is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Deal with cash transactions accurately and securely.
• Answer phone calls for the Customer Service area and direct queries.
• Keep up to date with products, policies and procedures.
• Support administrative tasks and data entry as needed.
