Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Wickham is seeking a friendly Customer Service Assistant to join our Retail team and help deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You’ll support stock availability, merchandising and customer advice in a fast-paced environment.

Contract: Permanent, Hours: Part-time (8 hours per week, Saturday 08:30-17:30). Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour. Application deadline: 1 October 2026. Training provided; benefits include pension, staff discounts, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and a passion for helping customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage systems accurately.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and solution-focused manner.
• Support store team in maximizing sales through product knowledge.
• Take ownership of a department and drive merchandising and promotions.
• Review stock levels and adjust seasonally to meet customer needs.
• Process goods inwards and maintain stock accuracy.
• Ensure visual merchandising standards and tidy presentation.
• Handle cash following company procedures.
