Mole Valley Farmers Limited is seeking a practical Warehouse/Yard Assistant to support stock management, stock rotation and deliveries in our Billingshurst store. The role emphasizes hands-on work in a busy feedstore and yard, delivering friendly and proactive customer service.

The position is permanent, part-time (8 hours per week, Saturdays) with a focus on maintaining a safe, well-organised environment and upholding our service standards for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a retail setting.
• Experience with manual handling and safe lifting practices.
• Experience working in an agricultural or feedstore environment.
• Forklift Truck licence is desirable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with goods inwards, stock rotation, and accurate processing of deliveries.
• Maintaining integrity of stock records and ensuring correct selling of items.
• Keeping feedstore and yard areas organised and compliant with company standards.
• Delivering friendly, solution-focused service to all customers.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures.
