Job summary

Newcastle Building Society is seeking a Customer Adviser to join our friendly branch team on a part-time basis. You will engage with customers daily, understand their financial needs, and help them with everyday banking tasks.

You'll open savings accounts, process transactions, and support colleagues to deliver outstanding service. We provide a 12-week training programme, flexible scheduling, and a supportive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred but not required.
• Desire to learn and develop in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Open and set up tills at the start of the day
• Book customer appointments and process transactions
• Assist in opening savings accounts and cash handling
• Close cash and balance at end of day
• Work 14 hours across two weekdays and Saturdays on rota
