Job summary

Newcastle Building Society is seeking a friendly Customer Adviser to join our branch team on a 14-hour per week basis. You will greet customers, handle transactions, help with savings accounts, and support a top-notch in-branch experience.

We value people skills, empathy, and a collaborative team approach. Full training will be provided, and there are opportunities to grow within the Society while contributing to local communities.

Qualifications

• Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships with customers.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to empathise are important.
• Desire to learn and develop new skills with a tailored 12-week training programme.

Responsibilities

• Open and set up tills at the start of the day.
• Process customer transactions at the counter.
• Assist in opening savings accounts and other customer services.
• Cash up and close at the end of the day.
