Job summary

Compass Group UK&I’s Chartwells division is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis (25 hours per week). You’ll help deliver exceptional food experiences and maintain high service standards across kitchens and service counters.

The role requires at least two years of catering experience, a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising our culinary and catering teams to ensure we continue to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
