Job summary

Chartwells is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations on a part-time basis (27.5 hours/week). You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly, delivering exceptional food experiences and outstanding customer service.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of catering experience, proven team management ability, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
