Job summary

Compass Group PLC is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor for Chartwells in the education sector on a part-time basis (25 hours per week, 43.8 weeks per year). You will oversee kitchens and service counters, ensuring exceptional food and customer service, while driving KPI performance and team development.

The role requires at least two years of catering experience, hands-on team leadership, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years catering experience required.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role is essential.
• Holder of a Basic Food Hygiene certificate is required.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain service quality.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and uphold brand image.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams to excel in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across all teams.
