Responsibilities

• Basic preparation of food and beverages.
• Simple cooking and reconstitution of prepared food.
• Organising and controlling food service points.
• Transferring and serving meals and snacks.
• Assisting with promotion of meals to pupils and parents.
• Maintaining contact with central kitchen for service delivery.
• Preparing the dining area and setting tables and serving points.
• General kitchen and dining room duties including washing up and clearing.
• Recording temperatures for control purposes and securing premises.
• Completing duties in line with regulatory requirements and school ethos.
• Carrying out administration and duties within competence.
• Promoting and adhering to school values.
