Ardnashee School and College in Derry/Londonderry is recruiting a part-time Catering Assistant to support daily food service operations in the school dining area. The role involves basic food preparation, serving meals and snacks, maintaining dining room hygiene and assisting with kitchen duties under supervision of the Catering Manager.

The post requires good communication and teamwork, and a positive approach to providing child-friendly customer service.

Qualificações

• Strong organisational and planning abilities with the ability to work under pressure
• Motivation towards providing excellent food and customer service for children and young people

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food and beverages and basic vegetable prep using appropriate equipment
• Assist with simple cooking and reconstitution of prepared food
• Organise and control food service points and dining areas
• Serve meals and snacks, including transport meals, to pupils
• Promote meals to pupils, parents and staff, supporting service delivery
• Maintain hygiene, clean kitchen and dining areas, and record temperatures as required
• Assist with administration and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
