Job summary

Debenham Group Practice is recruiting a part-time Care Navigator to join the team on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with shifts roughly 07:30–18:30. You may cover all three days or part of the pattern, and hours may be split across staff.

In this patient-facing role you will support patients and colleagues, ensure accurate information routing via askmyGP, signpost to local services, and help with reception, records and general practice administration across our three sites.

Qualifications

• Patient-facing experience is essential.
• Excellent listening and information-recording skills.
• Organised and reliable with a calm manner.
• Team player who supports colleagues.
• Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Experience in customer-facing or administrative roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day practice administration across reception duties and records.
• Support clinical and dispensary colleagues and help keep the practice running smoothly.
• Signpost patients to local services where appropriate.
• Help ensure requests are accurately recorded for the duty GP to review.
• Deliver courteous, efficient, and helpful service to patients and colleagues.
