Job summary

The Chislehurst Partnership in Chislehurst is recruiting two part-time care navigators to join a friendly team. The roles are across two sites with fixed weekly hours (Vacancy 1: 11 hours; Vacancy 2: 13.5 hours) and include holiday/sickness cover and light admin tasks.

Responsibilities include managing patient flow at reception, triaging calls, booking on EMIS, handling queries, and maintaining records with strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous admin and reception experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in records.
• Excellent communication and patient-focused approach.
• Able to work in a pressurised environment; flexible to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage flow of patients arriving at the reception desk for appointments, prescriptions or queries.
• Take calls from patients, triage symptoms and signpost to appropriate service.
• Receive and make telephone calls; divert and take messages with accurate details.
• Make appointments on EMIS; process requests for today and future appointments.
• Provide courteous, efficient patient enquiries handling and general admin support.
• Maintain patient records and safeguard privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide holiday and sickness cover and assist colleagues as needed.
