Job summary

Priory Group's Wigginton Cottage in Tamworth is seeking an activities coordinator to join our caring team. You will plan and coordinate a varied programme of activities, trips and holidays across a 12-month calendar, coordinating with residents' needs to ensure inclusion and engagement.

You will support up to eight residents with diverse needs, adapt activities accordingly, and maintain records to meet regulatory requirements and Priory values.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable adults or individuals with complex support needs, with experience planning and organising activities, events or trips.
• Ability to adapt activities to meet individual needs and preferences while maintaining records and working within policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate a varied programme of activities, trips and holidays across a 12-month calendar, ensuring activities align with individual needs and preferences.
• Support up to eight residents with varied needs, including autism and mental health needs, promoting inclusion and engagement.
• Maintain activity planners, posters and evidence files to reflect regulatory compliance and Priory values.
• Manage activity expenditure through the CFA system, ensuring the annual budget is used effectively.
